Merriwa

Merriwa air quality monitoring station is located on Merriwa Scone Road approximately 8 km north-east from Merriwa, at the north-western end of the Upper Hunter valley. It is one of two Upper Hunter stations designated as a background site for fine particles.

  • Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
  • Visibility using nephelometry

  • Precipitation
  • Relative humidity
  • Wind speed, wind direction and sigma theta
