NSW Climate Change Policy Framework
The NSW Government is committed to effective action on climate change.
The NSW Climate Change Policy Framework outlines our long-term objectives to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and to make New South Wales more resilient to a changing climate.
Between 2017 and 2022 we will invest $1.4 billion through the Climate Change Fund Strategic Plan to help keep us on track to meet our long-term objectives.
This policy framework builds on our strong track record of expanding clean energy, helping households and businesses reduce their bills by saving energy and preparing for the impacts of climate change.
It guides the NSW Government's policy and programs, further developed through the three action plans on clean energy, energy efficiency and climate change adaptation.
