NPWS corporate volunteering programs in NSW national parks

The NSW National Parks 'Many Hands' program offers a range of interactive corporate volunteering experiences in Sydney Harbour and Lane Cove national parks.
In partnership with Landcare Australia and the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife, NSW National Parks' corporate volunteering programs emphasise conservation and social responsibility - giving your business the opportunity to invest in the conservation and protection of Australian natural and historic heritage. It’s also a unique way to encourage your employees to work together and get things done, while gaining satisfaction from improving our natural environment.
Landcare Australia is a unique Australian partnership between community, government and business to protect and conserve Australia's natural resources. The landcare movement consists of approximately 4000 Landcare and 2000 Coastcare groups across the country. Volunteers from all sectors of the community work together on environmental projects such as revegetation, weed removal, stream bank and dune stabilisation.
The Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife is a not for profit conservation organisation, dedicated to caring for Australia's native plants, animals and cultural heritage through environmental education and conservation projects. Funds raised from the NPWS corporate volunteering program go to supporting the work of this organisation and ongoing works at each participating park..
NPWS corporate volunteering programs [PDF 1.6mb] provide:
organised teambuilding activities, competitions and challenges, led and coordinated by experienced NPWS rangers
tours of historical sites and educational wildlife tours
sessions on Aboriginal culture and tradition with Aboriginal rangers and guides
long term sponsorship projects, allowing your company to preserve your own piece of Australian heritage; and
on site facilities for lunches, meetings, functions and debriefings.
Sydney Harbour National Park
Sydney Harbour National Park, one of New South Wales' spectacular nature destinations, offers half day and full day activities at Middle Head and North Head
Lane Cove National Park
Lane Cove National Park offers full day experiences bringing the bush back to life at locations around Lane Cove River and Mars Creek. The program is taking bookings for Mondays - Fridays throughout 2012/2013.
