Extended Producer Responsibility Priority Statement 2005-06

Extended Producer Responsibility Priority Statement 2005-06 was replaced by Extended Producer Responsibility Priority Statement 2007. Both statements have been superseded by Extended Producer Responsibility Statement 2010.

Overview

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Priority Statement 2005-06 replaced EPR Priority Statement 2004. 

No new waste of concern was nominated for 2005-06. The products targeted for specific industry action under EPR Priority Statement 2005-06 were:

Agricultural and veterinary (Agvet) chemicals Agvet chemical containers Cigarette butts Batteries Computers Mobile phones Televisions Other electrical products Office paper

Packaging Paint Plastic bags Polyvinyl chloride End-of-life vehicle residuals   Treated timber Tyres Used oil and lubricants

EPR Priority Statement 2005-06 public consultation 

EPR Priority Statement 2005-06 was published in March 2006 and listed 17 products/materials for specific industry action.

Feedback was sought on the Statement by 30 June 2006, as required by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2001, the report on the submissions received is below:
