Extended Producer Responsibility Priority Statement 2007

Overview

The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Priority Statement 2007 replaced EPR Priority Statement 2005-06.

EPR Priority Statement 2007 retains the "wastes of concern" nominated in the previous statements and builds on the fundamental values of previous Priority Statements, that is, the aim to ensure that producers take physical or financial responsibility for the environmental impacts of their products throughout their life cycle. The statement gives notice of the wastes that DECC may recommend for regulatory action during 2008.
