    • Individual graphics are also available so you can develop your own signs. Colours should be adjusted when printing to match the PMS colours shown as closely as possible.

    • You may wish to add your council logos, sponsorship information, translations or other information. The signs can be varied or manipulated to suit your purposes, although please retain the colour codes.

    • The font is Univers Bold.

    • Ink colours are specified according to the Pantone Matching System (PMS).

    • You can choose between TIFF, EPS and JPG formats. Files are suitable for Macintosh and PC.

    • TIFF files can be opened by graphics software such as Photo Editor, PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, etc. This format is ideal for general purpose printing and use. Images can also be pasted directly into applications such as MS Word, Publisher and PowerPoint.

The TIFF image resolution is 300 dpi at A4 size. As these files are large they have been compressed and packaged within a ZIP archive. Use WinZip or UNZIP to extract the image file from this package.

    • EPS files can be opened and manipulated by Vector Graphics Software such as Adobe Freehand or Illustrator. They can also be placed in Desktop Publishing applications like Indesign, QuarkXPress or Pagemaker. This format is ideal for high quality image and print reproduction.

NOTE: Due to an Internet Explorer error you may find the files being saved as.PS rather than .EPS. Should this occur, manually rename the file and change the file extension to .eps.

    • The graphics are A4-sized designs suited to any kind of reproduction including screen-printing. We have also included files suitable for printing as stickers for mobile garbage bin lids (9 x 20 cm). File sizes can be modified to suit your needs. Discuss this with your printer.
