BusinessRecycling.com.au enables both the public and business, in particular small- to medium-sized businesses, to quickly find the location of nearby drop-off facilities and pick-up services for reuse and recycling of over 80 material categories, including timber, plastic, paper and cardboard, metals, soil/fill, electrical and electronic equipment, etc.

Reuse, recycling, waste disposal and waste transport companies can take advantage of this opportunity and register their services online for free. The website is supported by a Hotline - 1300 763 768 - to assist businesses with difficult or unusual inquiries.
This national directory is being developed, maintained and promoted by Planet Ark in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management, and Pitney Bowes. Zero Waste South Australia has also joined as a state promotional partner.
The directory aims to increase reuse and recycling of a range of materials that would otherwise go to landfill, saving natural resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with the manufacture and transport of new products and disposal of materials at landfills.
In the first 18 months of operation, over 460,000 visits of this site were registered and over 460 recyclers listed (including152 from NSW). The EPA believes that this will become the most comprehensive and widely used online directory of recycling services in Australia, helping to divert materials away from landfills.
