BusinessRecycling.com.au, enables both the public and business, in particular the small to medium size businesses, to quickly find the location of nearby drop off facilities and pick up services for reuse and recycling of over 100 material categories, including timber, plastic, paper and cardboard, metals, soil/fill, electrical and electronic equipment etc.

Re-use, recycling, waste disposal and waste transport companies can take advantage of this opportunity and register their services online for free. The website is supported by a Hotline, 1300 763 768, to assist businesses with difficult or unusual enquiries.
This national directory is being developed, maintained and promoted by Planet Ark in partnership with the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) NSW, Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management and Pitney Bowes. Zero Waste South Australia has subsequently joined as a state promotional partner.
The directory aims to increase reuse and recycling of a range of materials that would otherwise go to landfill, saving natural resources, water and energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with the manufacture and transport of new products and disposal of materials at landfills.
In the first nine months of operation, over 100,000 visits of this site have been registered and over 12,000 recycling services listed. The OEH believes that this will become the most comprehensive and widely used online directory of recycling services in Australia, helping to divert materials away from landfills.
