Guide to the Council Litter Prevention Campaign Resource Kit
The Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW, now known as the Office of Environment and Heritage, developed this Kit for NSW councils to use in their local litter prevention campaigns. This Kit will help you create cost-effective campaigns using the 'Don't be a Tosser' and 'Litter it's in your hands' promotional materials.
All materials are branded with the overarching Litter it's in your hands logo, and the Our environment - it's a living thing brand. You can mix and match the 'Don't be a Tosser' and Litter it's in your hands material to suit your needs.
The Kit offers the following benefits for your campaign:
- A popular slogan, 'Don't be a Tosser', with proven results in motivating people to change their behaviour.
- Artwork that is ready to print, therefore saving you development costs. Materials can also be tailored to your local needs, for example, adding your Council's logo.
- A range of materials, from bumper stickers to press ads, which can support clean-up, enforcement and education activities.
