Publication exemption notices under clause 51

Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2005

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) publishes the following exemptions in accordance with clause 51 of the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2005. Clause 51 of the Regulation provides that the EPA may, by notice published in the Gazette, make exemptions in relation to the transport of waste of a type specified in the notice.

• Number 2006-E-1: Zinc wastes destined for re-use
• Number 2006-E-2: Waste batteries (that are classified as hazardous or industrial waste) destined for re-use
• Number 2006-E-3: Spent pickle liquor destined for re-use
• Number 2006-E-4: Non-hazardous waste hydrocarbon oil destined for recycling
• Number 2001–E–01: Tracking of clinical and other specified wastes
