Priority Action Plan

The Priority Action Plan (09085pap.pdf; 92KB) sets the framework for delivering the NSW Diffuse Source Water Pollution Strategy. It lists agreed management actions aimed at addressing priority diffuse source water pollution problems. The intent is to focus effort and investment and also provide a framework for coordinating and building partnerships.

To increase the effort being directed towards diffuse source water pollution management we encourage stakeholders to use the NSW Diffuse Source Water Pollution Strategy to support bids for external project funding.

Once funding and commitment for diffuse source water pollution management projects is secured, we encourage you to nominate relevant projects to be considered for inclusion in the PAP. You can do this by submitting your details through the contact form. An officer from the Department of Environment and Climate Change will contact you to discuss the project and how it contributes towards achieving the objectives of the NSW Diffuse Source Water Pollution Strategy. The Priority Action Plan will be updated and accessible from this web page as new projects are added.

The delivery of projects will be monitored and an annual web-based report will be provided to facilitate sharing of the results and focusing effort on the priority issues.
