Public search

NSW Waterwatch is committed to providing the data collected around NSW back to the community, so they can make informed decisions about the health of their waterways. The below applications will provide groups with the information collected and entered into the NSW Waterwatch database.

Site and sample information

The site and sample information will allow groups to search the NSW Waterwatch database for data on riparian condition, water quality and macroinvertebrate information collected by Waterwatch groups.

Water quality sample graph information

The water quality sample graph information will allow groups to search for a Waterwatch site and show the water qaulity results for that particular site. These can then be exported into an excel spreadsheet.

Site locator

The NSW Waterwatch site locator allows members of the public to search the database for Waterwatch sites around NSW. The site locator will also provide members of the community with the necessary coordinates when entering data and registering new sites.

Once a Waterwatch site is found in NSW, members of the public can contact their Catchment Management Authority who can assist in helping to join a group or commence their own data collection in an area. The site locator includes spatial information of NSW and has functions to help the public to search for sites and locate rivers, estuaries or other waterways.
