Science statement

The Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW brings together a wealth of expertise and experience in scientific endeavours which support the NSW Government’s critical environmental and natural resource management programs.

This science statement describes the drivers, values and approaches that guide our science so we can care for our natural environment and cultural heritage. It also highlights our commitment to work together to increase our understanding of the world around us so we can make better decisions for our environment.
