This document provides the material to run the one-day training course. It was designed for small groups of around 16 people.
As well as presentation slides, facilitator's notes are attached to many of the slides to give some background or assistance in the presentation of that slide.
These slides and facilitator's notes cover:
- an overview of the WRAPP;
- how to conduct a waste assessment;
- a simulation exercise;
- analysing the waste assessment findings and
- writing a waste reduction action plan.
It is preferable, although not mandatory, that the presenter of the course has some environmental education or experience. At a minimum the presenter should have experience in conducting a waste assessment.

This guide provides the step-by-step process to conduct an office waste assessment and contains planning and data collection templates. It is to be used in conjunction with the presentation. However, it can also be used as a stand-alone tool to assist with the assessment of an office's waste management system.
