Green Globe Awards

An update on the Green Globe Awards

Given the challenging impacts COVID-19 is having on many NSW communities, the Green Globe Awards will not run this year. During 2020 we will undertake a strategic review of the Green Globe Awards to refocus on NSW Government sustainability objectives. Using this time to review the Awards ensures we are best able to support the current and future sustainability leaders of NSW.

What are the Green Globe Awards?

The Green Globe Awards are NSW’s premier sustainability and environmental leadership awards.

From the boardroom to the bush, the Green Globes celebrate leadership, commitment and innovation across range of award categories that reflect the diversity of sustainability work taking place across the state.

From the built environment to environmental protection; by public sector, private enterprise, and not-for profit organisations; from 12-year-olds to lifelong achievers, the Green Globe Awards support NSW by:

  • showcasing sustainability leaders and their work to protect local communities
  • sharing sustainability knowledge and how individuals and organisations can participate
  • ensuring the state is more resilient to a changing climate.
