Green Globe Awards are now closed

An update on the Green Globe Awards

In 2020, we took the opportunity to pause the Green Globe Awards to review how the NSW Government could best support leaders in sustainability and environmental protection in our community.

After 20 years of recognising leaders in NSW, the Green Globe Awards will close.

The NSW Government is dedicated to continue to tell inspiring stories of leaders helping to make NSW more resilient to climate change and supporting the reduction in our emissions, in new and exciting formats.

These stories will showcase emerging and established leaders in NSW who are taking action on climate change and working towards our goal of reducing emissions by 50% by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050 as set out in the NSW Government’s Net Zero Plan Stage 1: 2020-2030.
