Description

Physical description: Late Federation style cottage. Weatherboard with red painted iron roof. Narrow fronted with verandah along the side rather than the front. All gabled roof with second gable set behind front projection. Hipped skillion verandah with simple posts and fibro balustrading. Casement windows to projection with sash windows at sides. All shaded by verandah or individual metal window hoods. Original timber and wire mesh fence. Paling fence to laneway at side. Probably c1920.
Modifications and dates: Exterior is essentially intact and in sound condition.
Further information: Site visit 2009: fibro balustrade removed; original gate intact; fence removed and replaced; cool room attached at rear; toilet block (small shed-like construction) facing rear lane, sympathetic; windows, doors and window shades intact; verandah intact; new roofing and guttering.
