Good example of a Californian Bungalow. Forms part of an important streetscape of Menangle Road.

Builder/Maker: Harry Willis
Physical description: Single storey brick Federation cottage with brick chimney and tiled gable roof with fibro panels to the two gable ends. The cottage has a front verandah with a tiled roof and brick wall and columns with masonry piers. It also has a timber and chain link front fence with a metal gate and a simlpe garden with a pebblecrete path.

The cottage is in good condition.

Modifications and dates: Front door replaced and insect screen added. Fibro addition to the rear.

Historical notes: Built for Bill Rapley, sawmill owner, in characteristic "blue" brick of early 1920s.

Historical sources consider that the building may have been built in the late 1920's- 1930's and used as a ladies wear shop. The tenants name may have been Green.
