Description

Builder/Maker: Harry Willis
Physical description: Single storey brick federation cottage with brick chimneys, second storey attic addition and lead light windows. The cottage has a verandah on two sides with a stuccoed panel and brick columns to the front with masonry piers. The cottage has a timber picket fence and timber ball topped posts.

The cottage is in good condition.

Modifications and dates: Rear roof used for attic conversion, side verandah enclosed, rear second storey addition with verandah and wall.
Current use: Beauty Parlour
Former use: Residence

History

Historical notes: Substantial house built for W. Rapley, who erected a number of Camden houses for investment but occupied this one.
