Statement of significance:

A good representative example of early 20th Century Cottage which is relatively intact, and contributes in townscape terms being one of a group of remnant cottages in John Street which combined provide important and tangible evidence of Camden Township's growth development and highly important visual character.

Physical description: Weatherboard Federation cottage with corrugated iron gable-hipped roof, brick chimneys and skillion roofed verandah. The verandah is partially enclosed with fibro, and is supported by timber posts. A window hood sits over the front casement stained glass windows. A flat roofed addition is located to the rear and a separate brick toilet is located in the rear yard.

The cottage and grounds appear generally in fair-poor condition.
