Description

Construction years: 1915-1915
Physical description: A large weatherboard house with complex roof forms and detail typical of the Federation period. Weatherboards on front of the house cut to resemble ashlar stonework. Return verandah at front topped by prominent pediment / gable. Roof covered with asbestos tiles and decorated terracotta ridge capping.
Former use: Residence, Private Hospital

History

Historical notes: The house was built in circa 1915 on Belmore Township Estate, which was subdivided in 1906. This house operated for some years as a private hospital.
