Statement of significance:

Unusual in that it is designed with a double front but faces away from the corner. Outstanding example of Edwardian architecture.

Physical description: Outstanding late Federation building on a corner site. Although designed as a corner building it is oriented in the wrong direction. Elaborte roof form with gables on two sides and bullnosed verandah extending around corner between. Corrugated iron roofing with four tall brick chimneys. Brick walls, now painted. Verandah supported by stub timber posts on brick piers. Decoratibve cast iron brackets. Balustrade is in rough cast, with smooth rendered coping course in castellated form. Casement windows and french doors. Doors have fanlights and windows have small panes of coloured glass above. Sills with rendered dressing. Special feature is gablet at verandah junction. Has pressed metal tympanum with barge boards and finials to match main gables. Main gables in roughcast. Awning over windows on gable end facing street. Streetscape value.
