Statement of significance:

Specially designed for corner site. One of a small handful of buildings with asbestos tiles.

Physical description: Large bungalow style house on prominent street corner. Specially designed for site. Elaborate roof structure with double gables and verandah o both frontages. Low eaved verandah roof continuous with main roof on Wingewarra frontage. Brick construction with asbestos roof tiling. Terracotta ridge capping and finials. Verandah supported by double timber columns on brick piers. Simple but interesting brackets and valences. Special features are projecting bays on each frontage. Small leadlight windows on one bay with window box removed (leaving only corbels). Double hung windows on the other. All other windows of same type with bullnosed brick sills, small, double hung. Single large pane at bottom, four panes above. Gables feature half-timbering in form of large battens. Roof awning over window on rear extension. Special architectural interest in combination of Edwardian (elaborate roof) and Bungalow (gables) styles. Important streetscape building.
