Statement of significance:

Largely intact example of a late Federation brick bungalow, providing evidence of middle-class residential development in the area in the early twentieth century.

Physical description: Important corner site. Complements No. 268. Late Edwardian style. Steep corrugated iron roof continues down over low eaved verandah. Decorative timber posts, and bracketing, on brick piers. Brick balustrade, scalloped between piers with rendered coping. Verandah faces onto both street frontages. Brickwork unpainted (of No. 268). Windows are double hung (cf. No. 268). Those beside door retain original leadlight glazing. Building of special and an important streetscape location.
