Description

Physical description: Late Edwardian style house of special architectural interest. Badly in need of maintenance but integrity virtually intact. Red brick with corrugated iron roof. L-shaped plan with gambrelled main roof. Verandah roof continues main roof at much lower pitch. Exposed rafter eaves. Outstanding features include casement windows in projecting rectangular bays, gable vent with rendered architraves, hood over windows below, window box on stone corbels, "oeil de boeuf" and small casement windows flanking front door. Doors and windows also have fanlights. Verandah supported by double timber posts on brick piers with rendered coping. Original fence has same piers with roughcast balustrade between and tube infill. Has streetscape value as well as architectural interest.
