Statement of significance:

Former site of well designed corner house displaying some outstanding Edwardian decoration. 1920's pipe and wire mesh fence. There is a new development now on this site.

Physical description: Outstanding individual building specially designed for prominent corner site. Despite need of maintenance and some alterations still retains its essential integrity. Roof is main feature of special interest with an unusual and successful combination of Federation and Bungalow styles. Double gables facing both streets. Batten half-timbering with decorative elements. Terracotta tile roof with finials and ridge capping. Main roof continues over verandah at lesser pitch. Exposed rafters around verandah eaves. Walls of red brick incorporating darker coloured and bullnosed bricks. Verandah supported on stub posts with brick piers and balustrade. Other special features include 'oeil de boeuf' (round aperture) and casement leadlight windows. Retains original fence.
Modifications and dates: Site only - replacement building.
