Physical description: Large but unassuming house at a prominent corner location. In need of maintenance but essentially intact. Red brick with corrugated iron roof. Roof is bellcast shape extending over verandah (on two sides). Incorporates gable facing Gipps Street. Low eaved verandah with exposed rafters. Supported by timber posts, with simple brackets, on brick piers. Wide front steps with rendered coping on piers and step walls. Double hung windows with bullnosed brick sills. Original Edwardian style door with sidelights and fanlight. Large cedar tree at front.
