Statement of significance:

One of the town's best early twentieth century houses built on a corner site and specially designed for its corner frontages. Excellent local example of the Edwardian style. The timber gable and verandah decoration is outstanding, and again the preference for the traditional local verandah is clearly expressed.

Physical description: Edwardian house on important corner site. In good condition and more or less intact. Neatly tuckpointed local brick. Elaborate corrugated iron roof continuing down over verandah (on two sides). Pebble dash gables with decorative timber and finials. Three brick chimneys, partly rendered. Simple timber verandah posts and brackets with valences. Awning over double hung windows on Macleay Street fa├žade.
