More conventional in form, its decoration is what attracts attention. This includes the turned timber posts and the small coloured panes in the casement windows.

Description

Physical description: Edwardian style cottage. Local red brick with corrugated iron roof. 'L-shaped' plan with bullnosed verandah. Gable end is in roughcast with battens and has simple barge boards with timber finial. Three casement windows below with small coloured panes. Moulded sill and flat metal hood over. Turned timber verandah columns with unusual cast iron brackets. Main door has sidelights and fanlight. Special streetscape value as well as architectural interest.
