Description

Construction years: 1942-1955
Physical description: Description: Polychrome textured brick building, two storeys, built close to street alignment. Built in two sections. Older section (1942) has curved wall to corner, above main entry. Corner parapet in banded brick. Boxed roof eaves project over Railway Parade fa├žade. Regularly spaced double-hung windows. Wall rendered between heads of ground floor windows and sills of first floor windows. Planter box to street margin. New section (1955) contains hall. Textured brick walls. Terracotta tile gable roof with boxed eaves. Large timber frame glazed openings with cantilever fin reveals and flat concrete hoods. Both buildings have foundation stones.
