Statement of significance:

A well presented Federation residence with elaborate decoration beneath the front gable. It is significant as one of a number of buildings whose age, bulk and form, make a contribution to the Villiers Streetscape, from the corner of Dobie Street to Powell street.

Physical description: Single storey weatherboard federation style residence with bull-nosed verandah and gable to the front decorated with battens. Beneath the gable the wall above the front window has been decorated with a geometrically designed raised moulding. The window itself is covered by an awning. Steeply pitched hipped iron roof. verandah posts are turned with simple decorative brackets. A picket fence faces the street and steps lead from the roadway to the front gate. Mature plantings to the rear of the garden and in the street. The residence makes a significant contribution to Villiars street. It appears to be substantially in tact. There is no car access from Villiers Street. Interior not viewed in this study.
