Statement of significance:

This small cottage with board and batten cladding is representative of its type and tells of growth in South Grafton during the 1890s. It is one of several cottage in Federation Street which contribute to the historic fabric of the South Grafton area.

Description

Physical description: Small originally four roomed board and batten clad cottage. Exterior walls now clad with fibro. The front verandah has been enclosed. Hipped iron roof now extends over the front verandah. Windows replaced with aluminium. Original unpainted brick chimney intact at the rear. Picket fence to sides. No front fence and no historically significant garden.
