Statement of significance:

An attract quality built Federation cottage with moulded window frame and ashlar work with batten decoration under the projecting gable. It is one of the older dwellings in Garden Street, a street which adjoins See Park, and is likely to be associated with a professional or business person.

Builder/Maker: Schaeffer?
Physical description: Located opposite See Park (in Pt Lot 8 Section 36) this is a single storey Federation weatherboard cottage with an attractive moulded timber window surround on the front projecting gable. Steeply pitched new corrugated iron roof with skillion over the front verandah. Joinery to front windows and doors appears original.

1974 new owner W.A.Green added a patio at the rear

Historical notes: The early history of the house is not known. Drainage plans dated 26/8/1946 show that the house was owned by Mrs M.L Schaeffer.
