Statement of significance:

With its steeply pitched iron roof and ashlar decoration to the front gable this single storey weatherboard clad dwelling is aesthetically pleasing and contributes to the Alice streetscape. Historically it demonstrates development in Alice street at the turn of the century and is representative of its type.

Description

Physical description: Single storey quality Federation styled bungalow located on a large block (837 sq meters). Typical Federation features include a steeply pitched hipped and gabled corrugated iron roof with gablet ventilation. Projecting gable to the front with ashlar decoration under the gable. Bull-nosed roof over the front and side verandahs which have subsequently been enclosed with aluminium windows. Original joinery to a pair of long, narrow front windows and front door. Cottage garden. Wire and metal post fence with matching iron gate. Garage at rear.
