Statement of significance:

Large Federation period house of fine quality design. Distinctive features include lantern and tapered chimneys. One of the grandest Federation period houses in the study area. Little altered and in good condition.

Physical description: Grand Federation period residence set in large landscaped grounds. Complex roof. Symmetrical design on square plan. Face brick walls and slate roof. Pyramidal main roof with feature gables at front and sides. Outstanding feature is roof lantern at apex. Verandah returns to sides roof continuous with main roof. Simple posts and curved brackets with timber balustrades. Sandstone steps. Front gables shingled. Side gables roughcast. Tall roughcast tapered chimneys. Terracotta ridge capping. Exposed rafter eaves. Arched recessed entry. Double-hung windows either side in pairs. Original garden layout with circular driveway.
