Statement of significance:

Outstanding large Federation Bungalow style house situated on double block. Fine quality detail in excellent condition. Unusual slate roof. Virtually unaltered. Adjacent timber coach house and original fence.

Physical description: Federation house on double block with timber coach house on No 9. House has tuck-pointed dichromatic brick walls. Complex asymmetrical form. Slate roof with terracotta ridge capping. Excellent brick and roughcast chimneys. Distinguishing feature is octagonal projection with double conical roof. Turned timber verandah posts above brick balustrade with unusual carved valances. Double-hung windows with patterned mullions and leadlight toplights. Original picket fence.
