Statement of significance:

Large Federation period Arts and Crafts style house. In good condition and virtually unaltered. Of special note for its large slate roof and front facing gable in terracotta shingles. Original interior features also of note.

Physical description: Large brick house with attic storey. Steeply pitched gabled slate roof. Face brick chimney with terracotta pots. Front facing gable in terracotta shingles. Exposed rafters. Eight pane sash windows in clusters of three or four sashes. Liver colour face brick walls. Decoration generally restrained. Many original internal features.


Historical notes: Situated on land that was originally part of the Thorn Estate.
