Physical description: Two storey Federation house. Set well back from highway with dense planting in front. Oriented to the north-east. Face brick walls. Complex slate roof. Verandah returns to side. Turned timber posts with brackets and drip mould. Tall brick chimneys with terracotta pots. Shingled and bracketed gables. Narrow vertical windows some double-hung some with coloured panes.

Historical notes: Sands Directory indicates that the building was first occupied some time in the period 1910-1925. The architect for the house was possibly the same as for 241 Pacific Highway. The house was built for the Summers family.
