Statement of significance:

A fine and well maintained late Federation style house in a prominent location. Built and lived in by Mr A.E Sweaney, Manager of the Butter Factory for many years.

Physical description: A single storey house, weatherboard, and galvanised iron house.
Details include three quarter round front window, with casement sashes, top and side lead lighting to the front door, simple vertical verandah balustrades and matching verandah brackets. There are stairs up to the verandah to a room underneath which was a later addition.
The house is surrounded by a fine garden.
