An unusual brick Federation cottage

Construction years: 1915-
Physical description: Single storey late Federation cottage with terra cotta roof tiles and finials, roughcast chimneys with chinamen s hats. Brickwork light brown selected commons with red bricks used for sills and arched window heads. Timber-framed casement and double-hung widows. Small coloured glass panels in casement windows. Projecting front verandah with gable end at front supported on timber beam on wide brick piers, concrete pavers. Plain weatherboards to gable. Timber bracketed awning over windows, fibrous cement sheeting over. Side gables have battened panelled triangle at top. Small front garden planted with shrubs and trees. Low logs on boundary, no fence.

Archaeological potential:
Physical Condition: Fair to Good Brickwork has some mortar missing from joints, awnings need repair, roof tiles very dirty, with organic growth. Archaeological potential: High medium.. Low
Modifications and dates: Decorative elements removed from gable end. Awning roof replaced. Front steps and verandah repaved with concrete pavers. New timber balustrade. Some window panels replaced. Later front door and security screen.
