Statement of significance:

Kyle Williams house and Reserve is historically significant as it represents substantial Federation development as the area consolidated with the expansion of the railway and also its associations with the former land owner. It is socially significant as it reflects open space along the foreshore which is rare within the locality. Also its commercial function as a refuge centre for disadvantaged youths

Physical description: Federation Queen Anne Style. Sandstone base, face brick, slate roof addressing the water. Verandah with timber detailing.
Modifications and dates: Large additions to rear with tiled roof.
Further information: Visual landmark from the water. It addresses the water located in an expansive setting. Note: mangroves and jetty and kids roundabout and swimming pool. Retention of native species and low visual impact on foreshore, set in native setting and extensive grounds.


Historical notes: Within the Kyle and Merryman (grant?) farm. Williams Estate subdivided post 1903.
