SIGNIFICANCE - 1993: The house is untypical of the grander holiday houses along the Lake shore at Speers Point, but represents another level of income which could still aspire to the lakeside lifestyle.

Description

Physical description: PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS - 1993:
Architectural Style: Vernacular version of a Federation Bungalow
Materials: Frame - timber
Roof - hipped, CGI cladding
Walls/Cladding - weatherboards, rebated front, lapped at sides
Windows - timber DH sashes, single panes, in pairs
Floors - ?
Interior - ?
Typical, almost square, up-market worker's cottage is a little out of place on the Lakeshore, but has a verandah which returns down one side, narrow front steps and various decorative details which approximate to the more expensive holiday homes along the foreshore.
Modifications and dates: verandah brackets ? and verandah railings.
Current use: 1993: domestic residence
