Statement of significance:

Grand Federation home. One of the best old houses in the area. Though many well-to-do homes were built at Coraki and Yeagerton, few survive in recognizable form. Enjoys a typical floodplain setting, with trees along the river behind. Further investigation of history required. High local significance.

Physical description: Grand Federation style house beside river. Complex form. Complex high pitched iron roof. Weatherboard construction. Gabled projections on at least 3 elevations with connecting skillion verandahs. Decorative timberwork to gables, including finials and collar ties, verandah and window hoods. Large brick chimney. Good planting on river frontage, including pines. More open towards road and flood plain. (Not inspected closely.)
Modifications and dates: Verandahs partly enclosed at rear (towards river) and requires repairs and maintenance in parts. Overall condition is good and appears little altered.
