Statement of significance:

Excellent example of a Federation farmhouse, based on the traditional Georgian form. Recently restored/reconstructed, and one of the best presented rural homes in the City. Illustrative of the prosperity enjoyed by many dairy farms during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Retains its typical dairying landscape, as well as significant trees (see landscape listing 30054). Regional significance.

Physical description: Fine Federation home. Set back from roadway but prominent on views from the approaches. Weatherboard with pyramidal iron roof. Symmetrical design. Wrap around bullnosed verandah. Unusual decorative brackets. Drip moulds to verandah posts. Main door has side panels and lights. Criss-cross balustrade to one side. Bay windows either side, with decorative undersills. Large Camphorlaurels to driveway. Picket fence to front. (For landscape information see item 30054.)
Modifications and dates: Recently restored/reconstructed. Work appears authentic but hard to say for certain.
