Statement of significance:

Excellent local example of a rural farmhouse. Typical in its landscape setting. Of special note for its styling and fine Federation detailing. Appears intact. Hilltop location permits commanding views over the floodplain. The rise above the surrounding dairying landscape is sufficient to give special prominence and dramatic effect. High local significance.

Description

Physical description: Federation house set on a prominent rise, near the end of the access road. Weatherboard with complex iron roof. High pitched, with gables and gambrel. Bullnosed verandah to front (east) and sides. Decorative timber brackets and gable detailing. Triangular window hood below front gable. Main door has side lights and top lights. French doors to verandah. Pencil pine in front and white painted fence.
Modifications and dates: In good condition, recently refurnished. Verandah partly enclosed on south side return.
