Statement of significance:

Good floodplain example of a Federation cottage, essentially intact. One of the best examples in this area. Special interest for its form and high standard of detailing. Prominent beside the river and the road, with an interesting front fence. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1905-1905
Physical description: Timber Federation cottage. Located close to road on the east side, opposite the river. Standard asymmetrical form, with skillion verandah returning to both sides. Verandah continues across front projection. Decorative brackets and weatherboard balustrade. French doors. Decorative timberwork to gable, with collar tie and finial. Small coloured panes and sidelights to double hung windows below gable. Interesting front fence with decorative use of palings.
Modifications and dates: Appears little altered.
