This is a good example of federation style house in well maintained condition achieving a very delicate feel through nice timber detailing. Building makes an important contribution to streetscape in its use of materials common to its neighbours.

Description

Physical description: Large Federation style house is weatherboard with galvanised iron roof adopting the almost standard geometrical solution of large hipped square with projecting gable ends. Verandahs to both sides at front with skillion roof, timber posts, bracketing and finely detailed balustrade lattice screening to ends. Nicely detailed sun hoods over multi paned windows. Brick chimney intact at rear. Stepped picket fence accentuates fall in land and compliments general timber detailing.
