Historic: Record of historic residential development of town. Aesthetic: ONe of the finest architectural works in Morpeth. Excellent example of Federation Carpenter Gothic design, well proportioned and traditionally detailed. Gable timber work is exceptional. Set in attractive gardens contributes landmark value as land falls away to east and north.

Description

Physical description: Style: Victorian Carpenter Gothic. Exterior: Timber. Single storey house in attractive grounds, marked by three tall pines. Iron gable roofs with decorative gables and finials. Cast iron lace columns and frieze to bullnose verandah, shutters to french doors.
