Description

Physical description: Two storey Federation Arts and Crafts style brick house, with brick ground floor, roughcast stucco first floor, hipped and gabled unglazed terracotta tiled roof, with catslide roof to front and two steep roughcast stuccoed and battered timber gable ends facing Collingwood Street.
Each gable end also features a large timber shingled faceted oriel window. Original windows are diamond panel leadlight timber framed casements with wide timber lintoils. Two projecting front verandahs with wide, boarded eaves (now enclosed) retain original Art Nouveau style timber fretwork balustrades. Has a matching, flat roofed, brick and roughcast stuccoed garage.

Verandahs enclosed, Ground floor brickwork painted, Front fence modern low timber fence, Painted white, Divided into flats, otherwise relatively intact.

Modifications and dates: Encourage restoration including opening up verandahs, chemical stripping of paint from brickwork, Appropriate exterior colour scheme, Appropriate timber picket fence.
