Statement of significance:

It forms an impressive focal point at the intersection of Arbutus and Upper Almora Streets. Its corner bay is emphasised by an elaborate timber double height verandah.

Physical description: Federation Queen Anne. A large two-storey Federation Queen Anne residence designed to take advantage of a corner site, with double storey verandah and corner bay. The building is a focal point of view from Arbutus Street. Constructed of brick, painted more recently, features include turned timber verandah posts and balustrades on curved bullnose verandah bases and tall chimneys. Front fence, although sympathetic, appears to be recent. Recent garage adjacent to Redan Lane.
Modifications and dates: Unsympathetic Minor Alteration.
