Physical description: Interesting federation house with unusual metal roof sheeting (in appearance pattern like wunderlich ceilings). Tuck pointed brown bricks, red brick trim (Flemish Bond). Gabled roof forms and sloping verandah roof supported on slender Doric columns (cement). Bay gabled room projecting into verandah. Verandah returns both sides. Double hung sash and casement windows (to side bay window with shingled skirt). French doors to verandah and half glazed timber paneled entrance door with name 'Rexton' and decorated in etched glass.
Modifications and dates: Pebblecrete on verandah. Mudgee slate? on base course? Carport. No fence. - All inappropriate.
Further information: Fine federation house in prominent location opposite Robertson Park.
Integrity: Fair. Condition: Good. Conservation Area.
