Statement of significance:

One of the most outstanding examples of Federation architecture in Newcastle. In good original condition. Internal fabric of note.

Description

Physical description: Single storey federation style house of brick construction, featuring two verandahs on north and east side. National Trust - Multigabled slate roof with terra cotta ridging, and multi facetted brick walls breaking into square bays. There are bullseye windows, runs of sash windows with decorative leadlight glazing and two identical front doors with sidelights, one to each street frontage. The interior is largely intact with decorative plaster ceilings.
